Lotteries and prize draws are a form of gambling. We encourage anyone entering to gamble sensibly — see Responsible gambling below.
1. About the lotteries
These terms (the ‘Rules’) contain the rules for Club 1974, part of Your Lottery (an umbrella society lottery). Any person entering (‘Entrant’, ‘you’) is bound by these Rules together with the general terms for this website and the privacy policy.
The lottery platform is provided and promoted by Communication Zap Ltd (the ‘Promoter’). The lotteries are registered with Wyre Council under the Gambling Act 2005, number SL0338. Responsible person: Mr Darrell Turton.
2. How to enter
- Entrants must be 18 or over and resident in the UK. If you cannot prove this on winning, you will not be entitled to the prize.
- Each single entry costs £5. Membership of £10 per month buys two chances in every draw.
- Entries may not exceed £20 per week without the Promoter’s approval.
- Each Entrant must be registered by full name and address, and an entry is only valid once fully paid in time for the relevant draw.
- Postal entry to the Members’ Prize Draw is free, limited to one entry per person per draw, sent to: Lottery Prize Draw, 18B James Street, Prenton, CH43 5JD.
3. How to win
- Draws take place on the last Friday of every month at the Lottery Office, or another site at the Promoter’s discretion.
- Each Entrant is issued four numbers in the range 1–72, which must match the winning numbers exactly and in the order drawn.
- There are 15 national cash prizes from a monthly prize fund of £1,650 (1 × £1,000, 1 × £250, 1 × £200, £50, 2 × £25, £20, 8 × £10), plus a monthly jackpot of £10,000.
- In addition, every active member is entered automatically into a monthly non-cash draw. Across each year this awards four VIP experiences (such as a visitor package at a festival event, limited-edition artwork or signed memorabilia, and two free weekend tickets) and eight limited-edition items of official Club 1974 merchandise. Non-cash prizes have no cash alternative and may be substituted with a prize of equal or greater value at the Promoter’s discretion.
- No prizes are shared. Only subscriptions received before a draw are entered into that draw.
- All entry sales are final and no refunds are made at any time.
4. Cancellation, suspension and self-exclusion
Entrants wishing to exclude themselves can do so by contacting the Promoter, and will not be able to rejoin for six months from the date of self-exclusion. The Promoter may cancel a Lottery Account for breach of these Rules, and may suspend the lottery or cancel a draw at its discretion, reimbursing amounts paid in respect of a draw that has not taken place.
5. Liability
Nothing in these Rules excludes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Neither the Promoter nor the Lombard Rally Festival is liable for indirect, special or consequential loss, or for delay or failure in delivering a prize, or for events beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
6. Privacy and data
Data is processed lawfully and in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 — for lottery administration, winner notification and payment, anonymised promotion, and marketing where you have consented. See the privacy policy for the full detail and your rights.
7. Complaints and disputes
Complaints should be made in writing to the Promoter with supporting documentation. We aim to investigate fully and respond within 10 working days. Unresolved disputes are referred free of charge to The Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS), www.ibas-uk.com, 0207 347 5883.
8. Responsible gambling
- Gambling should be entertaining and not seen as a way of making money.
- Avoid chasing losses, and only gamble what you can afford to lose.
- Keep track of the time and the amount you spend.
